Weekly Round Up 06/23/21

June 23, 2021

a short list of things we are talking about this week:

Welcome back, Camden Garden Club! The Club is pleased to present its 73rd annual Garden Tour

The Camden Library is hosting a plein air painting event the weekend of July 30-August 1. The event includes a great line up of participating artists, including our own Colin Page, who will be painting in midcoast Maine all weekend and contributing a wet painting for sale in an auction to benefit the library.

Rembrandt's "The Night Watch," cropped in 1715 to fit between the narrow columns in Amsterdam's Town Hall, has been restored

The Human Library is just incredible. A library of people where readers borrow human beings that are often subjected to prejudice, stigmatization or discrimination and have conversations that challenge their stereotypes.

The Page Gallery kids are enjoying Fausto Gilberti's "Wasn't Sorry" series

In the fall of 2020, German photographer and artist Jörg Gläscher gathered branches and twigs and crafted nine huge wave-like structures on the forest floor

Giant trolls have taken up residence in Boothbay

Watching this found painting by David Bowie at auction

Binge watching the Maine Coast Harvest Series
