Susan Lichtman
Bio
Susan Lichtman (b. 1959) is a figurative painter living in Southeastern, Mass. She holds her MFA in painting from Yale and was a professor of Painting and the Charles Bloom Chair in the Arts of Design at Brandeis University. The Rose Art Museum celebrated her 42 year career at Brandeis with a retrospective show in April 2024. Lichtman is a figurative painter of domestic spaces, working in oil and acrylic gouache.
