Bio

Jonathan Laurence (b. 1981) is an artist based in Camden, Maine. 

Jonathan is an artist and explorer, deeply immersed and invested in his natural surroundings. His work invites the viewer to consider the natural world from alternate vantage points, revealing rhythms and patterns in the chaos of nature and the emotions of the atmosphere.  

Jonathan's photographs, multimedia work, and installations have been exhibited in galleries and museums nationally, including the Center for Maine Contemporary Art (CMCA), Ogunquit Museum of American Art, and Provincetown Art Association and Museum (PAAM.) Jonathan received The Rising Star Award from the Palm Beach Photographic Center and he is listed as one of the most collectible artists in Maine by Maine Home and Design.

Jonathan leads digital media and creativity workshops at institutions and art centers around the world, including NORD Photography in Norway and Anderson Ranch Art Center in Snowmass, Colorado.
